SOLD OUT! The 2007 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is a blend of four different clones of Pinot Noir fruit from three different vineyard sites. Two of the vineyards, which produced the vast majority of the wine for the blend, are located in the heart of the Russian River Valley. These vineyard sources give the finished wine a nose of wild strawberries and cola and on the palate provide a core of red cherry fruit with an extended finish. The third vineyard, a much cooler site located on the western edge of the Russian River Valley appellation, while only a minute component of the finished wine provided a brightness and natural acidity that lift the flavors of the wine.
