Perception Wines - The Reality Perception Wines is a partnership between winemaker, Mark Ray, and his two long-time friends Shane MacNicholas and Dean Felber.  The dream of making these wines began in Charleston, South Carolina in 1998.  The first small amounts of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay & Zinfandel were crushed in the fall of 2007.  The winery business was officially established in the spring of 2008 and received a federal basic permit, becoming a California bonded winery, in March of 2009. The current offering of two wines from the 2007 vintage are the first to be released to the public.  Eleven years in the making, we hope that you enjoy the wines! Our goal "The goal of Perception Wines is to produce the finest possible Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Zinfandel wines from the Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast.  These small-lot wines have been made by hand with great passion and care.  We hope that you enjoy them with friends and family, and that they make the conversations lively, the laughter more frequent and joyous and the meal more pleasurable."
